Designed to foster technical collaborations with start-ups whose solutions address specific R&D challenges. Successful start-ups will enter a joint development agreement with Amcor’s R&D team and receive funding of up to $500,000.

Amcor Lift-Off Connect

Aims to form strategic partnerships and pilots with start-ups that address challenges beyond R&D, its goal is to nurture collaborations with start-ups that could lead to further investments

  • When is the next Amcor Lift-Off pitching day?

    The next Amcor Lift-Off Connect pitching day will take place in December 2024, focusing on AI in manufacturing and R&D.

    The next Amcor Lift-Off Sprints pitching day will take place in Winter-Spring 2025.

    We plan to run around 2 editions per year of both programs.

  • Where can I apply?

  • What are you looking for in successful applicants?

    We are primarily looking for a strategic fit with Amcor.

    We evaluate the technology and intellectual property, the business model, scalability, team and experience.

    Please make sure that you cover the application questions with enough detail.

  • When will I hear back about the success of my application?

    We will respond to all start-ups that have completed their application to Amcor Lift-Off before the pitching day.

  • What can I expect on the Amcor Lift-Off pitching day?

    The Amcor Lift-Off pitching day is completely virtual, allowing start-ups and Amcor colleagues to join effortlessly.

    For Sprints, start-ups will receive each a 45 minutes slot to present their company. For Connect, start-ups have a 10 minutes slot.

    After the pitching day, we aim to provide feedback regarding next steps within one week

  • Is there a limit on the number of start-ups you will invest in from each pitching day?

    No, we will invest in all companies that we find to be a good fit with Amcor. There is no limit per pitching day.

  • What are the terms of the funding?

    We offer up to USD 500,000 convertible loan agreement (or equivalent), with a discount and a valuation cap. Terms and conditions will be discussed individually with each start-up, depending on their situation.
